The Tale of Two PM Kings
Going to the Project Management Institute Global Summit is like attending the Olympics and if you have to opportunity to speak on that global platform, it is akin to winning a gold medal.
So, this year, one of my most cherished moments at the hashtag#PMIGlobalSummit was sitting, listening and learning live from my two brothers (Kings) and PM thought leaders.
I met Billy S. Mwape, PMP, DAC, DAVSC in 2022 at the hashtag#PMIAfricaConference in Lagos – Nigeria, where I was privileged to speak and he was also a speaker, together with his amazing wife Abigail Sandala, MBA PMP . We hit it off with great chemistry and became family.
Taiwo Abraham, PhD Candidate, PMP, CFA-ESG, GRI-CSP on the other hand was my colleague at iCentra and he was arguably one of the best PM facilitators around. He successfully managed one of our most complicated projects, the set up PMO for Africa’s Apex financial regulator.
Reuniting with these two brothers and leaders in their rights, and seeing them excel on the global stage was a priceless moment and the highest point of the Summit, for me.
