In a powerful homecoming moment, Taopheek Babayeju returned to Lagos State University (LASU) as part of the Inspiring Excellence Tour, delivering a keynote focused on purpose-driven leadership, value creation, and the future of African talent development.
During the visit, Babayeju launched a multi-year student endowment initiative designed to support academic excellence and innovation, including an annual award for outstanding research projects.
The initiative reflects his long-standing commitment to education, mentorship, and leadership development. He encouraged students to approach life intentionally; combining vision, strategy, and execution to create meaningful impact.

The event also introduced #Project1500, a capacity-building program aimed at equipping students with project management, digital transformation, and agile leadership skills.
The tour reinforced Babayeju’s belief that empowering young leaders is central to Africa’s transformation and global competitiveness.
