In my sojourn through life, business and career I have learnt that one person never actualizes a dream.
Characteristically, your vision should be more significant than you such that it requires the inputs of other people to make it a reality. This is because a real dream always seeks to serve other people’s needs. It is too much for one person to handle, especially to a satisfactory and lasting measure.
Therefore, you must learn how to build your “Dream Team.” These are the people who will support your dream to fruition. They could be your family, friends, employees, partners, volunteers, etc.
On the other hand, some people make the mistake of tying the actualization of their dreams to an individual or group of people. Life is too unpredictable for that and people are even more unpredictable, so, never make that mistake. Let no one person or people be indispensable; instead, strive to make even yourself dispensable. Let the dream be the boss, not you.
